Dendrobium uniflorum

This plant I received from a friend living in Palu, Sulawesi. This particular variant is different from the variant from Kalimantan.

Dendrobium laxiflorum

Dendrobium laxiflorum JJ Sm
Section Spatulata

There are not many reference on Dendrobium laxiflorum, other that it was described by JJ Smith, and belong to section Spatulata and that on my collection was coming from Papua.

The flower is quite big, about the same size as Den stratiotes.

Dendrobium cinereum

Dendrobium cinereum J.J.Sm
Section Calcarifera

Dendrobium cinereum was coming to my collection early 2007, and originated from Kalimantan (or Borneo if you like to call it). It was blooming a number of times, and blooming on a leaveless stems. The flower itself is about 2,5 cm wide.

The plant is now growing on a plastic pot, and not under a net. However, it is getting a bit of sun every morning to around 11.
